Autism Spectrum Disorders in Clinical Practice:
Comprehensive, Collaborative Care Across the Lifespan
This 12-hour course equips chiropractic and integrative healthcare professionals with a practical, evidence-informed approach to supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) across the lifespan. Participants will learn foundational ASD concepts, strategies for creating an autism-informed clinical environment, and how to use structured intake tools to guide appointments and identify commonly overlooked multisystem health patterns.
The course presents integrative support strategies that address neurological, gastrointestinal, immune, sensory, sleep, oral, and dietary considerations, while emphasizing behavior as communication, risk reduction, appropriate laboratory testing, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Emerging research and commonly discussed topics related to autism are reviewed in a balanced, clinically grounded manner, with real-world case examples and customizable templates to support practice application.
