The American Chiropractic Association’s Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics (also known as the ACA Pediatrics Council) was established in 2005. Our goals are to support our members who take care of children in their chiropractic practices, and to promote the acceptance and advancement of pediatric chiropractic care.
Our site offers resources for patients and their parents, such as a referral directory to our members and frequently asked questions regarding pediatric chiropractic care.
This site also offers information for chiropractors about upcoming opportunities for postgraduate education, and pediatric chiropractic events. Our 9th annual symposium will take place March 14 – March 15, 2017 in Washington DC. More info can be found on our events page.
The council is accepting new members who are chiropractic students, chiropractic physicians, or non-DC physicians and are members of the ACA. It is not necessary that you treat a lot of children in your office. Joining the council demonstrates your support for the value of chiropractic care for all ages.

Council President Elise Hewitt, DC, DICCP announced at the SACA Educational Forum at NCLC in February that the council has dropped its yearly student dues and now are encouraging SACA members interested in family, child and maternity care to join. “Peds now joins Forensic Sciences, Occupational Health, and Rehab Councils in offering free student memberships through graduation.” President Hewitt says.
